Halloween is almost here and while you’re probably still brainstorming genius costume ideas, we’ve got some basic tips to keep you and your loved ones safe at home and while out trick or treating this spooky season.
HOME SAFETY TIPS
Turn on your outdoor lights to prevent trick-or-treaters from tripping on something while on their quest to get candy at your front door.
Clean off your driveway and clear all walkways of leaves and debris.
Always keep an eye on your front door as a precaution to keep intruders from sneaking into your home behind you.
Take pictures of your home before trick-or-treaters arrive. In case something were to happen like an accident or vandalism, this could be proof that your home was safe and sound at the beginning of the night.
Park your car in the garage to avoid any potential scratches or dings.
